Registration
Dalhousie Community Kindergarten is open to children from any community in Calgary.
Registration for the 2008-09 school year is ongoing. For more information, contact us at (403) 288-1050 or info@dcakids.com.
- Your child must be five years old by February 29, 2009 to start class in September.
- Space in the morning class will be filled first, however an afternoon class may be offered if numbers warrant.
- A $25 non-refundable registration fee will be collected at the time of registration.
- Please bring your child's birth certificate and immunization card, as the Calgary Board of Health requires a copy to be kept on file. It is recommended that your child have the Measles/Mumps/Rubella immunization prior to entry into Kindergarten.

2008-09 Program Enhancement Fee
Like other publicly funded kindergarten programs, Dalhousie Community Kindergarten collects a one-time program enhancement fee of $95. This fee is collected at the time of registration, post-dated to May 30th. This fee is refundable with written notification prior to May 1st. The fee covers special materials, field trips, or guest speakers that provide program enrichment and are beyond the curriculum mandated by Alberta Education. Other fees may be collected during the year to cover additional enrichment activities or lessons (skiing, skating, swimming).
Volunteer Deposit
A $50 Volunteer Deposit fee is collected in September. The fee is returned upon completion of volunteer duties.
